GFT is a sacred space that I have created to provide a holistic approach to skincare. Healing through the alchemical transformation of holding ALL of the self with unconditional love. To offer a way to nurture, replenish, and restore your being.
Our skin is a reflection of our inner body. What we put into our bodies on top of physical and emotional stress is detrimental to the health of our skin. I believe the number one cause of skin issues stems from stress. Stress disrupts hormone levels which cause a breakdown in the integrity of the skin. Stress causes us to alter our diets whether that means choosing unhealthy options or not eating enough. Either way, it disrupts the gut, usually causing inflammation which shows up as acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, rosacea, etc.
For Healthy skin, you need a healthy body which requires a healthy mind and vice versa. How do we achieve healthy skin, mind, and body? By taking care of the heart and soul. Caring for it, nurturing, and nourishing it allowing it to rest and rejuvenate. It is in using manual healing touch techniques to improve the skin, incorporating modalities such as Gua Sha, herbal poultice, specific facial massage movements, and reiki I help facilitate the body's natural design to heal itself.
Being the largest organ, what we put on our skin is equally important as it is absorbed into our system. I believe plant medicine is powerful and effective. Products without synthetics, preservatives, and harmful ingredients are my choices for skincare.

All her treatments have you laying on a heated BioMat which was lovely and warm in her cozy and beautifully decorated room. Christine's techniques are beyond spectacular. The products smelled and felt amazing. It was so much more than a facial too as it included a neck, shoulder, arm, hand, and foot massage as well as Reiki energy healing and massage on the face with rose quartz and jade crystals.
